Technology is everywhere nowadays. My scholars can benefit greatly from becoming computer literate at an early age. Currently in my classroom, I use the SmartBoard to integrate technology with as many lessons as possible; however, I can only have one scholar physically interact with the smart board at a time. Chromebooks would allow me to implement activities that will allow multiple scholars to physically interact with technology integrated lessons at one time. I also want to begin to teach my scholars how to do word processing. In two years, they will have to take computer-based assessments that will require them to type essay responses. It would be awesome for them to be prepared with some typing ability in advance.
