My students are the vibrant, engaging, empathetic youth of Camden, New Jersey. They stand in stark contrast to the city's reputation, challenging the assumptions of many. They are compassionate. They are bright. They are full of promise. They are eager and optimistic. I am fortunate enough to be charged with the responsibility to not only educate them academically, but to continue to foster these remarkable characteristics they embody despite their circumstances. Within the four walls of our classroom, and within the walls of our school, we strive to work together to build a community where everyone can thrive.
