When my students enter the classroom they are full of energy and excited about learning. I have 20 eager learners and I want to help them as much as I can by providing what they need to be successful. Most of them enter school not being able to recognize a single word or being able to read. I have high expectations for all my students and I expect them to try hard and never give up. My students are always busy reading, writing or cutting and gluing. When they leave my classroom I show them their accomplishments and how far they have come. I am always so proud of every one of my students. Teaching during this time has been incredibly challenging. We have to wear masks, sit behind a sneeze guard and the kids can barely socialize. Students come to school to not only learn but to socialize and make friends. It has been difficult for them during this time but they are doing their best and I am proud of them.
