Each day I teach forty three curious and charismatic students the importance of reading and how reading can enrich as well as change their lives. While many of them have never been outside of Texas, they travel to new worlds and different times in history every time they open a book and read. My students know that the brain is a muscle and intelligence is malleable so they come into the classroom ready to work hard everyday.
