Hello and thanks for checking out our Donors Choose site! Here at Chavez School in Oxnard, California, we're trying to send our 6th grade students to Outdoor Science Camp. The students have been raising money for this experience and they have done a great job. The trip is planned for December 2016 and we still need $25,000. The camp tuition is about $240 per camper and we have 130 sixth-grade students. I went to Outdoor Camp as a 6th grader and you may have had a similar experience. My hope is that our students here at Chavez Elementary will make life-long memories in a natural setting that will encourage them explore our world. There is no donation that is too small!!!
