Teachers Pay Teachers offers teachers like me the chance to buy materials that are individualized to meet the needs of each unique learner in my special education class. I work for a school district where many of our students do not have access to supplemental materials at home. It has been up to me as a teacher to find materials for instruction that work for each student's different academic needs. Even though I teach TK-1, our academic levels in the classroom vary from 20 months old - 5 years old based on their recent assessments. This makes it difficult to find online curriculum that is effective for all learners. Teachers Pay Teachers is a great resource, where I can search up various areas of need and find materials that are beneficial for my students.
