I teach 7th grade language arts and social studies in a middle school in eastern Washington state. The majority of the students come from low income households and the only way they can read quality books is to check them out at our school library or to read ones provided to them in the classroom. I currently do not have my complete classroom library available for their use as it in a storage unit in western Washington.
