Many of my students with communication delays will greatly benefit from the use of the book kits with manipulative and various craft supplies. Pairing books with a connected craft will give the students many additional opportunities to build a variety of language skills. These foundation skills are the building blocks for these students to become more effective communicators. Learning these important communications skills will help my students continue to progress and achieve their individual goals. As important as these materials are, due to limited funding, these important therapy materials and crafts supplies are not always available during the school year.
