All in one waterproof rain-suits are desperately needed for my students to ensure they can have quality outdoor time despite the cold wet-snowy weather which occurs a great deal within Northeastern Vermont. Currently my students often come to school with inadequate clothing to be outside either because families can not afford the proper clothing or forget to send the outdoor clothing along with the child. By donating to this project, you will make it possible for all of the students in the preschool classroom to enjoy outdoor play in all types of inclement weather as the waterproof suits will keep the children from getting wet and cold while outside. Providing young children opportunities for outdoor learning experiences despite the weather is an essential component of a quality early childhood education. These rain-suits will remain at school and will be used with students both this school year and beyond.
