With our current configuration, a lot of valuable time is unnecessarily wasted navigating tabs and windows while hosting online classes using Google Meets. Regularly, it is required that I present my screen to model what is expected of students prior to setting them loose to complete their own individual learning activities. Since time is limited, and students learn more effectively when they are doing, adding a second monitor to my current setup will reduce instructional time lost to lag and working on a single small computer monitor while increasing the number of minutes per hour that students can be working on their own projects.
