My classroom is filled with 20 amazing students. We live in a rural community with a population of less than 3,000 people. In our district, we have 55.3% students receiving free or reduced-price lunch, with 62.7% for just our elementary campus. The majority of our students come to school without having their basic needs being met such as meals, clothing for weather conditions, and some students live in a house with multiple people or families, which doesn't allow for them to have proper hygiene. Most of my students do not have a computer or other current technological device in their homes.
