Our students are a diverse group of varying ethnic groups. They also come from a range of socio-economic backgrounds. As a result, their skill sets are as wide-ranging. Our school does its best to provide students access to technology. We have been outfitted for the latest technology with regards to the Internet. However, the equipment designated for students use is outdated and not slated for an upgrade just yet. This presents a challenge as teachers move to incorporate technology into their lessons and activities and even more so with the virtual and paperless classroom. Many students communicate via electronic devices and social media, however, they find it a challenge to use the technology to navigate their success with limited resources available to them at school and home. Having these resources will allow students to have access to the latest technology right at their fingertips.
