These five Chromebooks will get us closer to our goal of a 1 to 1 classroom. We use technology, especially Chromebooks every day in our classroom to practice math skills we have been learning through a program called Aleks. These Chromebooks will also provide access to the electronic version of the math book we use in class every day. With that access students will also have videos, tutorials, and other resources to help them as they are working independently to master mathematical concepts. All homework is assigned and differentiated to each students individual needs through Aleks, and these Chromebooks will provide more opportunities for students to complete that while in school. Having more Chromebooks in the classroom will give each student more time, every day, to research and plan argumentative and informative writing pieces. They will open up more possibilities and resources that many of my students don't have access to anywhere else.
