The books I am requesting are already in my lesson plans for my unit on Individuality versus Conformity. I'm excited to also integrate Asian history and culture into a concept my students deal with everyday. We will be able to note take and sticky note as we read. Being able to have their own copy during class will make a huge difference in reading, annotating, and writing about the content. This will be a perfect book to find evidence in to support my student's arguments on the subject. My students will benefit in their knowledge of Asian culture as well discovering their views on this topic.
