We are an Early Education Center servicing approximately 315 Pre-k and Kindergarten students. We are on a military base so the majority of our kids come from families that our serving our country. Our school is piloting a STEM program this year. We are focusing on teaching our youngest learners how to work collaboratively, think creatively, and solve real world problems. We want our students to have a voice and choice in their learning, so while many of our lessons will be project based, our emphasis will be on the process, not necessarily the product. We need to instill a love of STEM in our students because we need to prepare for a changing world and get them ready for jobs that do not exist yet. Please join me in this adventure!
