I have 18 wonderful girls and boys in my class this year. They enjoy coming to school and working hard. Each of them are filled with curiosity, joy and a thirst for learning. Every day is a blessing watching them grow and become more confident in their skills. I count myself the lucky one to be able to teach my students and interact with them daily. Our school, which is located near Grand Junction, Colorado, has been a Title One school for over 25 years. We have approximately 441 students in our building. Of those students, a high percent receive free or reduced lunches. At our school we also serve breakfast free for all students. On any given morning, more than fifty percent of our students eat a healthy breakfast to start their day. We have a school that is filled with a hard working staff who truly care about every student.
