I have spent money here and there to buy books for my small classroom library but I would love to have a greater choice for my students to get into independent reading. Students who read regularly do better academically. Students find difficulty in doing well on standardized tests because they lack the stamina to read the questions and long passages. I want my students to find joy in reading and develop the stamina they need because they love to read. I need books that cover a variety of topics to pique interest in reading.
