My students are years behind on reading, writing and mathematics. They are in grades 5 and 6 but generally are reading at a K - 1 level. They are eager to learn and make new connections but struggle due to not being able to read on level. The classroom they are in is a self contained room and the students would highly benefit from having a leveled reading cart where they could access appropriate books at their instructional level. They are wonderful students that have a great deal of potential. They are behind but with the right resources they can strive and become successful readers. Please allow my students this opportunity to make additional progress in reading and to give them the confidence to read from a wonderful selection on this new leveled library cart and books. This cart and books can have a huge positive impact on my students. Please help us make the difference for these wonderful students.
