Second grade is the last step in a primary grade. These students need math fact fluency as much as they need to be able to read to succeed moving on to third grade. The hot dots activities will be a valuable asset to our classrooms math center station "fact fluency" in addition and subtraction. Keeping kids active and engaged through this activity is a sure way to have their fact fluency on level by the end of the school year and ready for third grade! The math read aloud mentor texts are a great bonus for this age group to listen and enjoy stories about math. Generous donors will provide my sweet second graders with a lifelong skill that they will forever be grateful for having!! This activity will keep them actively engaged and memorization will come naturally. Let's make learning fun!
