Kindergarten is a year of important "firsts," and is a time where growth is abundant. My classroom would greatly benefit from having basic classroom materials to more specific items to enhance their learning (such as math/literacy games, technology and materials for hands on learning such as counting collections). I teach in an area with a variety of social-economic backgrounds, however, most of the students in my classroom will be Title I meaning that they receive free/reduced lunch. There will also be multiple students who are just beginning English language learners. As a first year teacher my hope is to give my students everything they need to be successful and any contribution would be greatly appreciated!
