My name is Ms. Gillespie and I teach English Language Arts and Social Studies to 31 fantastic 4th graders and 31 fabulous 5th graders. This year I want to provide them with non-stop awesome and engaging lessons and activities. To do this, I will need to add as much technology as possible to our classroom. During the year we will work on many projects which will be research based. Right one we have access to the computer lab once a week but during that time, students are required to complete a reading based program which leaves very little time for research. In the classroom we have one desktop computer and one ipad. I would LOVE to have an ipad center which students could use for research projects and also use to play educational games to improve reading skills.
