All of our students receive free breakfast, lunch, and have opportunities to receive afterschool daycare from a few different organizations to keep them off of the streets in the midday hours. However, these young minds are eager to learn and just waiting for opportunities to break the cycle of malfunction and sadness that looms in their neighborhood. They have already experienced and will face obstacles that most adults will never encounter. Labeled as a failing, program improvement, Title 1, and English Learner population, less than 25% of the students are meeting grade level standards. Please give my students that chance to develop a desire to excel in the realm of technology by supporting our project. You can create lifetime learners and unlock opportunities that would otherwise be non-existent.
