Having headphones can help change how a student thinks about a subject, listens to facts, or focuses on a test. All of my students desire to be successful in their learning. Having the multipurpose headphones with volume control from Lakeshore will give each student the opportunity to take ownership of their individual learning by interacting with online learning activities. Students will benefit from having the ability to have facts or instructions repeated to them several times as they need it. While headphones have the power to help enhance the learning experience, they can also increase concentration. Thick, cushioned headphones have the ability to block sounds, making the surrounding area quiet. This helps the child focus on the task at hand, rather than on the noises of a classroom. This can lead to an all-around better performance on assignments. Students will be able to remain engaged with one on one learning in a way that does not interrupt or disturb their classmates. When the headphones are not in use, they will be stored in the Kimbora classroom pocket chart.
