A few years ago I started creating 2-minute short movies with my art classes. Due to not having proper editing tools, we had to shelf the project for several years. Having access to iPad Pros, I can once again bring this project to life and give my students a chance to explore the world of film making both in class and an after school club. When our students get to high school, they have an opportunity to study media arts. Giving them a taste of what that is like will not only give students an edge up when they get to high school but will also let them see what media arts are so that they can make an informed decision before signing up for those classes.
