I work at a wonderful middle school that encourages the use of technology to enhance instruction. Our students are easily captivated by the innovative ways to learn, and they appreciate all the various ways teachers carry out instruction. We have a diverse population of students with different learning needs, which is why it's important to implement student center learning. Technology allows us to differentiate for students inside and outside the classroom. My students use online reading programs to assess their reading progress and practice skills. They watch videos of me reviewing topics so they can review at their own pace and prepare for exams. Moreover, my students are open-minded sixth graders, who enjoy innovative and different ways to learn.
