My students are not just students, they are leaders. I have been incredibly fortunate to work with some of the brightest, hardest working, and most caring children ever. It was only natural to refer to them as leaders. Each year, I strive to create a supportive classroom community that fosters collaboration. This year, my students blew me away with how well they collaborated and supported one another, as well as how much initiative they took in the classroom. For example, my kindergarten leaders were able to lead several daily routines, create solutions to class problems, and help and praise one another on a regular basis. I learned so much from them and cannot wait to carry those lessons with me for future classes.
