With the return to school, many students are dealing with some SEL (social, emotional, learning) issues. I want to focus on interpersonal connections through literacy. I want to use stories to connect and touch upon some issues that students might have encountered through FDL (Full Distance Learning). As I focus on the whole child, the storybooks will put a focus on the SEL lessons as well as the academic importance of the lessons. I will be using the lamps to set up a calming classroom environment for these reading SEL lessons.
