My students are craving a hands-on science experience. This is the first year for this high school, and I am continuing to build a completely new program with no budget for any science equipment or supplies! The budget cuts have really impacted all of the programs in my district, especially in low income neighborhoods. This has been such an injustice to children. The only way I get enough supplies to teach is through programs like this.
