My students are inquisitive, funny, and personable. They have also all been diagnosed with a learning disability. Right now, they span from 2nd through 5th grade. I will likely get younger students as the year progresses and more students qualify for Special Education services. My school is located in East Oakland, in a community that is socioeconomically low but has high community involvement in education.
