Our school asks students to keep their chargers at home to ensure Chromebooks are charged even if remote learning needs to take place. However, our county does not have a surplus of additional chargers to spread throughout our schools. Having this charging station would allow my students a safe place to recharge Chromebooks while at school; cutting down on the damage and sometimes loss, of initial chargers provided with the Chromebooks as students transport them back and forth. We use our Chromebooks for numerous daily activities that students love! We practice math and ELA skills as well as learn 21st skills such as coding! When students' Chromebooks aren't charged they cannot participate in some of these activities with their classmates.
