I will convert our books on CD into mp3 files and importing them onto the Kindle Fire tablets so students can listen to the story while following along with the book. Students will be able to "read" any book no matter their reading level. Students will be excited and engaged in reading using the Kindle Fire tablets. I can use the tablets to create small group listening centers or use them individually. Students will be able to combine the love of listening to stories read to them and technology. The Fire tablets will also give the class access to other apps and technology resources.
