Over 70% of our students qualify for free-or-reduced lunch. The ethnically and linguistically diverse students who choose Shortridge assume a heavy workload and dedicate themselves to attaining an IB diploma. Students take a 2nd language all 4 years of High School, fulfill a community service mandate, do individual research, and engage in a wide variety of academic and athletic extracurriculars. Shortridge is the oldest public high school in the state of Indiana, dating to 1864 (and at its current location since 1928).

About my class
