Through the use of Meditation and Mindfulness practice, students will engage in daily sessions during the school day to help them improve their mental health and academic success. At the beginning of every morning, students will learn skills that will help them increase awareness, clarity, compassion, and a sense of calm. The practice of Meditation and Mindfulness will improve student focus and help ease psychological symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress related to their disability. My goal is for my students to develop and utilize these skills so they can become resilient, happy teenagers!

About my class
