My art students have never learned the skill of printmaking. The materials I have requested, including printing ink, brayers, foam, and fish replicas, will be perfect for my students to learn a new skill. Specifically, the students will be studying Japanese culture. "Gyotaku" is the traditional Japanese method of printing fish. The fish replicas I requested will be ideal for this lesson. My students need basic printmaking materials and replica fish to create beautiful Japanese inspired prints. My art budget has been drastically cut in the past year. Without the help of generous donors, we can not afford even the most basic supplies. Please help students get the supplies we need for this cultural art lesson.
