Most students go into science with the feeling of dread - I want to open their eyes to how limitless science is. My plan for these books is to read them as a class, watch the movie (every kid loves movie day), and develop hands-on problem-solving activities to engage my students. I want them to see that science is in the world around us, and there are no limitations to who can make a difference - your background, your education, your race, your religion, none of these determine what you can do or who you can be. Please help me give these special kiddos a new perspective on science!
