My students are kicking off a school-wide recycling program at our middle school. They have researched the importance of recycling and how it can help the environment by ensuring less trash ends up in our landfills. Since school waste is up to 80% recyclable, students can make a huge impact when they recycle. Providing recycling bins for each classroom will allow all students the ability to recycle on a daily basis. It's amazing just how much trash a school collects on a daily basis and how much can be actually recycled. Please consider helping my students learn firsthand how they too can make a difference!
