Hi, I am a 5th grade teacher at John F. Kennedy School. As part of my Science/Social Studies curriculum, I try to encourage the learning of current events at least once a week. Due to our economically disadvantaged status, it is very difficult for me to purchase Time For Kids magazines in which to incorporate. Each magazine costs $4.46 and I would like to purchase 60 copies, one/student/month. The students complete comprehension quizzes on the various articles which aid in their overall quarter grades. My students and I would greatly appreciate any contributions to help meet our goal.
