My students are an energetic group of first-grade students who enjoy learning on a daily basis. They are eager to learn and are actively involved in every lesson we do. One of the best things about my class is that they love to share what they've learned with others. My students come from diverse economic backgrounds and all learn in one classroom environment. We spend our days working in small groups for the areas of reading, writing and math. Our social studies and science lessons are whole class, but hands-on and interactive. Through small groups I'm able to provide students with more hands-on practice with concepts and confer with them to discuss their learning while also increasing my knowledge of each student as a learner. I want to provide as many amazing learning opportunities for my students as I can!
