Picture this: You're working hard on a tricky math problem at your desk, not sure if you're doing it correctly. Your math teacher approaches your desk, looks over your shoulder, then asks if she can borrow your notebook. With pride you watch her take your notebook to the front of the class, project an image of your own work onto the board, and ask the class to look at how you've solved the problem. I teach 6th grade math in a high need community in North Carolina.
