I taught kindergarten for ten years. I now teach first grade and I am loving it. I have a diverse group of students and they are all beautiful and each have a story to tell. The students are bright, energetic and want to learn. My school has a deep passion for reading instruction in the early grades. Administration and the county office are helpful in providing all the tools we need to guide our students in reading instruction and learning across the curriculum. The parents of our students, the PTO and the community are also wonderful about providing classroom supplies and raising money for school funds. I am fortunate to work at this school and in this school system. I would describe my school as a family school that works together to help ensure student learning and growth.
