I have 30 wonderful 2nd graders. We are in a turn around charter school in New Orleans East. This is our third year after the school was taken over by a charter network. We face challenges with our building and not having enough space for all students that we have in each class. We have to be really creative about our space. My students are kind and hardworking. We set goals for the year and rally around each other to reach these goals. We are constantly celebrating our successes and thinking about what we need to work on next.

About my class
