My band students attend a school with a high poverty rate. Classes are overcrowded, and there are often fights and conflicts within the school. However, the majority of my band students are honors students. As such, they strive to propagate a positive reputation through performances and various events. They are incredibly deserving of better quality materials than the ones the school can provide on our very strained and limited budget.
