The pencil sharpeners will allow my students to be more productive in the classroom since they will allow them to sharpen their pencils quickly and will be much less distracting than using a smaller wall mounted or hand-held sharpener. The tablet will allow for me to be able to do more interactive small group activities with my students, which will allow me to reach them on their levels and move them forward in a way that allows them to excel at their pace. These students may not have technology access at home, and the tablet is a way to help them gain access and practice using technology that will help them be prepared to be a part of a technology driven
