The ROOTS Program is for Indianapolis Public School students who are struggling to succeed in school due to significant behavior and/or mental health concerns. It serves as a diagnostic day treatment program. ROOTS! Reclaiming Our Opportunity To Succeed! The ROOTS program offers a multidisciplinary treatment approach, collaboration between mental health and education, low student-teacher ratio, a daily focus on counseling and skill building, family services, crisis intervention, therapy through art, music and yoga, and a strength-based focus.
