Our 1st grade class is in a school that is a high needs Title 1 school with all of our children receiving free breakfast and lunch. My students range in ethnic backgrounds, home languages, and current academic skills. We have made amazing growth this year not just in literacy and math skills but also as developing scientists and community oriented citizens of our world.
