As a Resource Teacher, I want to my Learning Lab to be a place that offers them a different approach to learning from their traditional classes. Working in small groups on skills that are tailor made to address the areas they struggle in will build their confidence. I KNOW they can move closer to their grade level with a little extra help! Cleverly disguised lessons that look like games or short activities is the key to accomplishing our goals. Most of my students academically perform 2-5 years below their current grade level in reading, writing and math. These materials will allow me to provide remediation of foundational skills.
