We need your help! Our class needs enough money to get a Leopard Gecko. Having a Leopard Gecko would be very interesting. We want a Leopard Gecko, because we can observe its structures and how they change. We will watch it to see how it moves. We will also sketch and paint our gecko to learn about its structures. Another thing we can observe is how it changes as it grows to an adult. Leopard Geckos shed, and having a live one will let us see how they do that. Having a Leopard Gecko will help us learn how to take care of something. We will learn how to give it water. We will also learn how to feed it. This will help us learn responsibility. Finally, in third grade we learn about animal adaptations. An adaptation is a structure or behavior of a living organism that helps it survive. One example of an adaptation is camouflage. We want to learn how Leopard Geckos behave so we can learn about a real animal's adaptations. Help us get money for our Leopard Gecko by donating to our project.
