I am a first grade teacher in a high poverty elementary school. I have both special education and regular education in my inclusion classroom. I have taught first grade for many years now and absolutely love it! I love their energy, enthusiasm and love for learning! We enjoy learning and growing together to be ready for second grade. The school I teach at is a high poverty elementary school, where more than half of our population receives free or reduced lunch, and snacks each day. We have a very dedicated staff who works together to ensure that our students are provided with a positive learning experience.
