Every math teacher will receive a set of Krypto cards to provide students opportunities to practice basic operations in math class. Krypto provides many opportunities for lessons, including whole-class Krypto games, small-group work, and supplemental enrichment work. Teachers can use the cards in warm-ups, during a lesson, to remediate basic integer skills, or for enrichment if students finish an assignment early. Students who excel at the game will be invited to compete against other local high schools for prizes. Students get more opportunities to practice mathematics by noticing patterns, observing relationships, and developing problem solving strategies. Games help students strengthen their mathematical reasoning and understanding. Krypto also gives students opportunities to develop skills in mathematical discourse. Math class doesn't have to be boring!
