Items will be used to teach and develop STEM vocabulary and understanding in order to be successful in all subject areas. Hands- on activities will allow them to be more engaged in their learning. Student will learn about drones and structures which require STEM knowledge to develop. Items such as popsicle sticks, construction paper, pipe cleaners, etc will be some of the structural material they will be using. Having tablets will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. One way they will be used is as a STEM center. Students can look up pictures of drones and design their own using Popsicle sticks, rubber bands and paper . It will be able to download apps that teach about basic designs which would allow me to have activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students.
